Pit’s padded seating shell offers a warm feeling of comfort without disturbing the piece’s strong design lines. Its understated shape is made possible by the way its legs are hand-joined to the seat: each leg has an inward-facing metal cover formed to the shell which allows it to be attached while offering the necessary stability without grooves or notches.
This chair is available in two versions, one upholstered with horizontal seams and one with a visible bare wood back. It is complemented by the Pit table, a hi-tech construction in which a slim-line aluminium honeycomb table top is placed on round legs while sharing their chalice-shaped uppers with those of the chair.
